Affiliate, on phone; owner or affiliate manager, on desktop.
1. Invited, or from a link on the merchant's site, the affiliate opens the sign-up page and joins with Google or email; an existing affiliate uses the same account.
2. The owner or affiliate manager, prompted by email, approves it the same day; a program may approve everyone.
3. The affiliate receives its link, its code, the creatives, and the payout terms.
4. It promotes and sees clicks, referrals, and commissions as they arrive, each referred customer masked.
5. Before its first payment it gives its tax form and payout method, once, held for every program it joins.
6. Commissions pass the hold; a refund inside it voids one, explained beside it. Each held balance names what holds it.
7. On the payout date, the merchant's payout run pays it, above the threshold.
8. The affiliate is paid for every sale it brought and sees why, line by line.
